On the northern slopes of Fruška Gora, in Beočin is the location of this monastery whose founder is unknown. The frist written data comes from turkish sources from 1566. It is built of stone and brick. Guesthouses that are three sided were completed in 1741 when the three storey bell tower was completed as well. The entrance door portal is interesting since over it there are the sculpted figures of a Lion on the left and of an Eagle on the right. The monastery boasts a beautiful park where a small chapel from 1905 dedicated to Saint George is located. In the church, beside the door and to the right is the grave of Holy Bishop Varnava who was recently canonized. The monastery is active and in the care of nuns. You can reach the monastery from the center of Beočin to the police station, then turn right and straight ahead to the monastery that is located on the left side of the road.
