The monastery can be reached from the direction of Beočin to Rakovac. From the center of Rakovac you follow the road straight to the monastery. According to legend, it was errected by the Great Chambermaster of Despot Jovan Branković - Raka Milošević whose name the monastery bears. It is agreed that the year is 1498. In its time, the monastery was a cultural center and a copy center. Dušan's Law was copied here. The look of the monastery is depicted on the copper lithography from 1743.There are very few remains of the frescoes and they can be seen only in parts in the callota and in the cubet as well as on two columns. The church is built from processed and broken stone. The current iconostasis is small and the icons are from the 18th century. The monastery is active. It is mixed and in the care of monks and nuns.
